Qajuqturvik Community Food Centre (QCFC) is a registered charity that strives to strengthen health, belonging and food sovereignty in Iqaluit. QCFC works in partnership with Community Food Centres Canada (CFCC). Community food centres are places where people come together to cook, share, and advocate for good food. QCFC is seeking a full-time Kitchen Manager for its facility in the heart of Iqaluit. In conformance with Article 23 of the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement, preference will be given to Inuit applicants. Housing is not available.
The Kitchen Manager ensures the successful delivery of QCFC’s Community Meal program, which is QCFC’s flagship program and a vital component to the health and wellbeing of Iqalummiut. Reporting to the Program Director, the Kitchen Manager will:
